Splitting!

Shrouds are a great unit to have in almost any unit composition. The typical rule of thumb is to have 2/3 with 90 population. 3/4 with 100 population and 4/5 with 120 population for a healthy army.

Shrouds can block more than most people realize.

They can block snipers/kodiaks/siege turrets/megaturrets/forge anvil rounds/all upgraded forms of UNSC turrets. Also blocks reaver/wolverine/blisterback shots however these will quickly drain the shrouds anti-missle laser.
